Corporate, Tax, and Business Attorneys
Our general business practice includes the representation of corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietorships. The firm creates business structures and advises on such matters as capital, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, compensation and management planning together with statutory and regulatory compliance. Many of our lawyers’ professional activities involve some facet of corporate practice ranging from initial formation of business organizations to matters of corporate operations and finance, to banking, creditors rights, employer/employee relations, taxation, and government relations.
A major concentration within the General Business Division is the representation of seven financial institutions. Our attorneys advise these institutions on matters ranging from regulatory compliance at the state and federal levels to the legalities of regular banking, activities encompassing commercial lending and creditors rights and involving the handling of actions seeking repayment of loans and the recovery of collateral as well as guidance in major debt restructuring arrangements and work-out transactions.
